Do you like open-world RPGs with deep crafting and a world that actually reacts to what you do? The Six Dragons drops you into 256km² of fantasy terrain across the world of Nemberus, with over 1 billion procedurally generated dungeons and full item ownership backed by Enjin Blockchain. Available in Early Access on the Epic Games Store, it’s one of the more ambitious RPGs in the blockchain gaming space.

What is The Six Dragons?

The Six Dragons is a fantasy open-world RPG developed by Savvas Lazopoulos, CEO and founder of BlockPegnio (Cyprus). It holds the distinction of being the first blockchain-powered open-world RPG, with its Enjin integration built and demoed at GDC 2019 in 48 hours. The game runs on Enjin Blockchain and is available on PC via the Epic Games Store, with a Steam release planned for the end of 2026.

The world of Nemberus stretches across 256km² (nearly seven times the size of Skyrim), with forests, volcanoes, mountains, rivers, and castles throughout. Players choose from three class trees (warrior, mage, cleric) and explore a world partially corrupted by the six dragons, who have enslaved the population and turned the land into hostile territories.

How Does The Six Dragons Work?

The core loop covers exploration, combat, crafting, and enchanting. You roam the open world freely, take on quests, fight monsters, and loot dungeons. Craft over 300 unique items at crafting stations, with each recipe existing as an NFT that can be owned, borrowed, or traded. Enchant equipment with power modifiers to push your build further.

The Six Dragons uses a MultiSingle-Player structure: you explore your own instance solo, but your actions contribute to shared Tile progression across all players. When a Tile reaches 100% completion, Rift Portals appear. These summon Rift Bosses scaled to your level, and defeating them across multiple player instances contributes to a shared kill, with leaderboards tracking individual contributions.

The Blacksmith Service allows players in separate instances to post NFT-backed crafting recipes that others can borrow. The Trading Post handles buying and selling of raw materials and components, functioning like a traditional MMORPG marketplace even within the solo-instance structure.

Digital Collectibles in The Six Dragons

Every item in the game (weapons, armor, crafting recipes) can exist as an NFT on Enjin Blockchain. Items are tradable on NFT.io, Enjin’s native marketplace, and can be managed via the Enjin Wallet on mobile. Dragon’s Mount NFTs let you ride dragons in-game, and are among the most sought-after assets in the collection.

Governance NFTs give holders voting power over future game development. Holders also receive Governor Status, a distinct in-game designation.

Blockchain features are fully optional. New players start with a Managed Wallet that stores any crypto or NFTs earned automatically. No prior Web3 experience needed to download and play.

Getting Started in The Six Dragons

Download for free on Epic Games Store or add to your wishlist on Steam. No wallet required to start. The Managed Wallet handles any NFTs you earn while playing. Your first session starts with character class selection (warrior, mage, or cleric) and drops you into Nemberus to explore, fight, and loot. Good to know: crafting requires owning or borrowing a recipe NFT, so check the Trading Post early if you want to craft rather than just loot.

To access the full NFT economy, connect an Enjin Wallet from the main menu. Items and recipes then appear in your wallet and become tradable on NFT.io.
