Do you like big clan wars, castle sieges and martial-arts combat with a lot of style? MIR4 is Wemade’s open-world MMORPG set in an Eastern fantasy world, with eight classes, cross-play between PC and mobile, and an optional blockchain layer for its rarest resource and characters.
What is MIR4?
MIR4 is a free-to-play MMORPG from the Korean studio Wemade, part of the long-running Legend of Mir series. You play on Windows, Steam, a Mac with Apple silicon, Android or iOS, and your character carries over between them, so you can run a dungeon at your desk and finish your daily tasks on your phone.
On Steam alone the game averages between roughly 10,000 and 12,600 concurrent players a month (October 2025 to September 2026), and Wemade keeps adding chapters, classes and raids. Steam reviews are mixed (67% positive), with grind and pay-to-win as the usual complaints.
How Does MIR4 Work?
You pick one of eight classes, from the greatsword Warrior and the healing Taoist to the newer Darkist, Lionheart and Spirit Summoner, and level up through story quests across the Mir continent. Combat leans on flashy skills and the series’ signature movement, including air strides that carry you through the air between fights.
Your character grows through four activities. Hunting gives experience and crafting materials, gathering herbs raises your Constitution, mining supplies ore for gear, and meditating builds Inner Force and skill ranks. Spirits fight at your side as companions.
The endgame is about clans. Clans fight over the Hidden Valleys, where the valuable Darksteel ore is mined, and the strongest ones battle for Bicheon Castle in large sieges. Raids, the cross-server Domination Server and team PvP keep high-level players busy.
Digital Collectibles in MIR4
The blockchain side of MIR4 runs on Wemade’s own WEMIX network. Darksteel mined in the game can be smelted into DRACO, a token with a daily limit per character. Characters themselves can also be turned into NFTs and traded on XDRACO, the official exchange, after which they move to dedicated NFT servers.
All of this is optional. You can play the full game without ever touching DRACO or an NFT character, and trading on the exchange is thin today. Token prices and NFT characters for sale are listed on the XDRACO site, so you can see what the blockchain layer looks like before you decide to use it.
Getting Started in MIR4
Download the game from the official MIR4 site, from Steam, or from your phone’s app store. It costs nothing to start, and the shop is optional. Create a character, follow the main story quests to learn the controls, and join a clan early, because most of the game’s content is built around one.
Good to know: the DRACO features need a character of level 40 or higher, a login through Google, Apple or Facebook instead of Steam, and a WEMIX PLAY wallet. You don’t need a wallet for anything else.
