Looking for a big, good-looking fantasy MMORPG that you can play on both PC and phone? Night Crows is Wemade’s free-to-play Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG set in a dark version of 13th-century Europe, with gliders, huge server wars, character NFTs and an item economy that runs on WEMIX.

What is Night Crows?

Night Crows is a large MMORPG developed by MADNGINE and published by Wemade. The Korean version topped the grossing charts on both Google Play and the App Store, and the global version adds a blockchain layer on top of the same game. You play on PC or mobile with cross-play between the two.

The world is a realistic medieval Europe with regions such as Avilius, Bastium, Kildebat and Tronetel. Wemade reports 14 million users across all versions (April 2026), and the global servers run on a steady schedule of seasons, patch notes and new events every week.

How Does Night Crows Work?

You pick a weapon class, such as One-handed Sword, Two-handed Sword, Rapier, Orb, Gauntlet or Cannon. Each class branches into sub-classes, and you push your character through several promotion stages and finally an awakening.

Gliders are a signature feature. You can take off from high ground, ride updrafts and fight in the air, which changes how both exploring and PvP play out. The endgame centres on war, with large battlefronts where whole servers and guilds clash.

Day to day you hunt, run dungeons and complete requests from the in-game Exchange, which is also where players trade materials with each other. Seasons add new gear, events and rankings, so there is always a fresh goal on top of levelling.

Digital Collectibles in Night Crows

The global version links the in-game economy to WEMIX. Key materials, such as Diamonds earned through the Exchange, can be turned into tokens once your character reaches level 45. CROW is the main token, and smaller tokens like MORION, TEAR and FEATHER each stand for a specific crafting material.

Characters themselves can be minted as NFTs and traded on the official marketplace, where you can browse high-level characters by class, level and server. All of this goes through a WEMIX PLAY account and is optional. You can play the full game without minting a token or owning an NFT.

Getting Started in Night Crows

Download the PC client from the official Night Crows website, or install the game from Google Play or the App Store. It is free to play, with optional purchases such as season passes.

In your first session, pick a class, follow the main story quests and take to the air with your glider as soon as you have it, since flying makes travel much faster. Good to know: the official site has a basic guide and a game encyclopedia that explain classes, items and systems in more detail.
