What is Immortal Rising 2?

Immortal Rising 2 is a mobile idle action RPG set in a world thrown into chaos by the Seven Demons. You play an Immortal, a resurrected warrior who fights through regions such as the Silent Woods, the Dunes of Despair and the Frozen Shriek on the way to the demons themselves.

It follows Immortal Rising, which reached the top of South Korea’s idle RPG charts. The sequel is rendered in full 3D, and Bad Beans develops it with Planetarium Labs as publisher. On Google Play it holds a 4.5 rating from about 32,000 reviews.

How Does Immortal Rising 2 Work?

Stages are the backbone of the game. Your Immortal fights through them automatically, up to a limit of 4,000 stages across seven difficulty tiers from Normal to Torment II, and keeps advancing while you are offline. Your rank depends on how many stages you clear, so there is always a next wall to break through.

The build is where you make your choices. You pick a weapon (sword, bow, shield or spear), then combine it with Fire, Frost, Thunder and Dash magic. Merging two skills creates a mix skill such as Blade of Fire, and the site counts over 10 million skill tree combinations.

Four dungeons feed your upgrades. The Goblin Vault gives Gold and Rune Dice, the Cursed Armory gives weapons and Reforging Stones, the Forgotten Library gives Parchment for skills, and the Rift of Trials gives Awakening Stones. Pets add another growth path, and guilds team up against shared bosses and fight over territory in Guild War.

Digital Collectibles in Immortal Rising 2

The game’s collectibles live on Immutable, an Ethereum scaling network. Starlight is an in-game currency awarded in limited amounts to top-ranked players, and it is used to craft Mercenary and Land NFTs. The docs also describe minting U-grade items as NFTs.

$IMT is the governance token. Holders vote in the game’s DAO on topics such as the roadmap and game balance, and the token is also used for on-chain item trading and for crafting U-grade items. Staking it through an Immutable Passport adds voting rights. You can play the whole campaign without touching any of this.

Getting Started in Immortal Rising 2

Download Immortal Rising 2 for free from the App Store or Google Play via the official website. The game has optional in-app purchases, and you don’t need a wallet to begin.

In your first session, let your Immortal clear the opening stages, then spend your first points in the skill tree and try a mix skill. Open the Dungeon menu once it unlocks, because that is where your upgrade materials come from. Good to know: the difficulty climbs quickly early on, so your dungeon runs and daily missions matter from day one.
