What is Paradise Tycoon?

Paradise Tycoon is a free-to-play multiplayer life simulation and builder game developed by Empires Not Vampires, a studio with a data-driven approach to blockchain game design. Gameplay runs on Paradise Chain, the studio’s own Avalanche L1, without wallet pop-ups or gas decisions, while NFTs and the $MOANI token live on Avalanche C-Chain. You can play in a desktop browser or on Android, and iOS is available as a TestFlight beta. Console versions for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch are planned through Bonus Stage Publishing, without a release date yet.

The game is still in beta, and its community has logged more than 100 years of combined playtime. The Genesis Island presale sold out, with players spending 30 million MOANI on Genesis Islands. A Creator Program gives players tools to build their own experiences within the game.

How Does Paradise Tycoon Work?

You start by customizing an avatar and arriving on an empty island. The core loop is a mix of resource collection, crafting, building, questing, and socializing. Chop wood, forage plants, fish, farm crops, then craft those materials into items or tools, upgrade your beach villa, and construct production buildings to automate output. Port Ohana serves as the central social hub where players meet NPCs, visit merchants for new outfits, and interact with the broader community.

The Outworld expands play beyond your home island. Areas like Makubo Jungle offer harder challenges, rare resources, ancient blueprints, and hidden side quests that can be tackled solo or with friends. Events run regularly: the Harvest Festival combines production and strategy for competitive rewards, while community events like fishing competitions fill out the calendar. A Tycoon Power leveling system, similar to RPG progression, adds structured advancement on top of the sandbox gameplay.

Crew Members are AI-powered companions you assign to tasks on your island. Each has a rarity level (Common through Legendary) and learns new skills as you level them up, boosting your production output and performance in events. Selecting the right crew member for the right task is where the optimization layer lives.

Digital Collectibles in Paradise Tycoon

Paradise Tycoon has three main NFT types. NFT Lands come in different sizes and ratings, with the rating determining which resources you can collect, forage, and farm, as well as which building types you can construct. Genesis Islands were the first land presale, selling out entirely before the TGE. NFT Crew Members are the AI companion characters described above, with unique appearances and stats from Common to Legendary rarity. NFT tools in Epic and Legendary tiers round out the set, and rare tools can be reforged into stronger versions.

$MOANI is the native token of the Paradise Chain ecosystem, used for in-game purchases, crafting, events, island rentals, gas fees, and UGC monetization. The token sale ran on Avalaunch and Seedify, and MOANI has a total supply of 6 billion. No wallet or NFT is required to start playing: standard characters and mechanics are fully accessible at signup.
