Do you like space strategy games with NFT ship ownership? DEEPSPACE is a space exploration and combat game on BNB Chain where you build a fleet of NFT starships, mine resources across multiple planets, and battle other players in turn-based combat. Note: the game is still playable as a beta, but the last update was build 0.83 (October 2025).
What is DEEPSPACE?
DEEPSPACE is a space exploration strategy game built on BNB Chain (BSC) and Ethereum by Chainify Labs. The game itself runs in a downloadable client, while the NFT marketplace (the Outpost) and the Bridge run on the web. The native token is $DPS, an ERC-20/BEP-20 utility token with a maximum supply of 100 million, used for all in-game transactions. The game was audited by CertIK and runs across both BSC and Ethereum with a bridging system connecting the two chains.
The universe spans several genesis planets, including Athena, Mitra, Gelida, and Tyranus. Each planet carries different resource compositions and mining conditions. The roadmap listed features including Commander Avatar NFTs, ship racing with a custom track builder, player factions, and PvE combat. Racing in particular has not shipped yet.
How Does DEEPSPACE Work?
Every player gets a free starter ship, and you can add NFT starships from the Outpost marketplace by bridging them into the game. Up to four ships can be active in your Hangar at once. Most players run a balanced fleet of one Fighter, one Tank, one Miner, and one Support ship, with each class having distinct stat weightings across eight attributes: attack, special attack, shields, special defense, speed, luck, mining, and health.
Gameplay breaks into two main activities. Mining sends your fleet to planets to gather ore and rare minerals, which feed into ship upgrades and equipment. Combat pits you against AI enemies in PvE or other players in PvP battles for leaderboard placement.
Ship stats are upgradeable over time, with the Luck stat capped at +10 levels from its minted value, and only a Lucky Charm can raise it.
Digital Collectibles in DEEPSPACE
Ships are NFTs on BSC and Ethereum, purchasable through the Outpost (BSC) or OpenSea (Ethereum). Genesis Ships were minted during a one-week window in 2022, giving them a fixed supply. Minting is closed, so new ships come from the marketplaces. Resources and equipment upgrades trade as Semi Fungible Tokens (SFTs) on the same marketplace.
$DPS can be acquired by swapping from BNB or ETH on decentralized exchanges, then bridged into the game. Ship NFTs remain in your wallet regardless of game activity.
Getting Started in DEEPSPACE
Create an account at deepspace.game, download the game through the launcher, and log in to start with the free starter ship. To use NFT ships, you’ll need a BNB Chain-compatible wallet (MetaMask works) and enough BNB to cover gas fees. Browse available ships by class, stat range, and price before buying, then use the Bridge to move a ship to your Hangar.
Good to know: DEEPSPACE is still a beta with no new build after 0.83, so check the community channels before buying ships.
