Do you like arcade-style racing games with real car ownership? REVV Racing is a browser-based arcade-simulation racing game developed by Animoca Brands, where the cars you race are NFTs you own. It’s one of the core games in the Motorverse, Animoca’s broader ecosystem of motorsport games.

What is REVV Racing?

REVV Racing is a browser-based racing game developed by Animoca Brands on the Polygon blockchain. Animoca Brands is one of the most established names in blockchain gaming, with a portfolio of licensed motorsport titles and partnerships with brands including MotoGP, Formula E, Lamborghini, Nissan, and Honda. REVV Racing is one of the core games in the Motorverse, Animoca’s unified digital motorsport ecosystem powered by the REVV token.

The current version, REVV Racing 2.0, runs directly in a browser with no download required, making it one of the more accessible blockchain racing games available. Cars are NFTs on Polygon, and the REVV token (ERC-20, 3 billion total supply) serves as the primary currency for the entire Motorverse ecosystem, not just this game.

How Does REVV Racing Work?

Races are time-attack style: three laps per session, with your total time (not just fastest lap) determining your leaderboard position. Consistency matters as much as speed. Controls work on keyboard or controller, with standard accelerate, brake, and steer inputs plus a handbrake option. The game offers first-person and third-person camera views.

Daily leaderboard events are the core competitive format. Premium race entries cost 5 REVV and offer 3x points. Community tournament events have also run with prize pools including Torque Squad NFTs and REVV tokens.

The car you race is your NFT. Different cars carry different performance stats, so car quality affects your competitive ceiling.

Digital Collectibles in REVV Racing

Car NFTs on Polygon are the primary assets. Each car has unique stats and visual traits, and can be bought and sold on OpenSea. The fusion system lets players combine existing car NFTs to create higher-tier vehicles with improved performance.

REVV is the cross-title utility token across the entire Motorverse. It’s used to enter premium races, purchase assets, and participate in governance. It’s also the currency linking REVV Racing to the wider Motorverse games, including Torque Drift 2 and Torque Squad.

Blockchain integration is opt-in. You can race without a wallet, though competitive tournament entry and NFT ownership require a Polygon-compatible wallet.

Getting Started in REVV Racing

Play for free in browser at revvracing.com, logging in with email, Discord, Google, Twitch, X, or a wallet. No download or wallet needed for practice modes. Your first session puts you straight on track. Pick a car and race three laps. Good to know: to enter competitive leaderboard events, you’ll need a Polygon wallet and a car NFT (available on OpenSea).

For the broader Motorverse, including Torque Drift 2 and Torque Squad, the Motorverse Hub at motorverse.com is the central access point.
