Formacar Action is a free-to-play racing game on iOS and Android built on BNB Chain, combining circuit racing, drift competitions, and sprint challenges with NFT car ownership and a token economy. Developed by Formacar LLC, it now goes by Action – Crypto Race in the app stores and still gets regular updates.
What is Formacar Action?
Formacar Action is developed by Formacar LLC, a Dubai-based studio that built the game as the Web3 arm of a broader automotive platform. The parent Formacar ecosystem includes a car configurator, AR tuning tool, and social features for car enthusiasts. The Action game focuses on competitive racing with blockchain asset ownership layered on top.
The game runs on BNB Chain with two tokens: $FCG (FormaCarGame Token), used for NFT trading and marketplace activity, and $FCM, an in-game currency for purchasing cars and parts that cannot be converted to external currency. Free-to-play quests, a custom lobby system, and tuning bonuses are all part of the current version.
How Does Formacar Action Work?
The game offers five race modes across a range of tracks with 11 supercars available. Circuit mode runs multi-lap races against up to six opponents with a time limit. Sprint is a point-to-point race where all competitors start simultaneously. Drift mode scores players on the length and angle of sustained drifts. Free Ride is an open exploration mode. Custom Game lets players create private lobbies with configurable tracks, modes, and entry fees.
Car performance depends on tuning components across three quality tiers: Basic, Upgrade, and Master. Installing higher-quality engines, tires, and brakes raises a car’s tuning bonus score, which directly affects race rewards. Daily and weekly quests give both free-to-play and NFT players structured goals with rewards for completion.
Digital Collectibles in Formacar Action
Car NFTs and tuning component NFTs are traded on the in-game marketplace using $FCG tokens. NFT cars unlock extra race modes and higher reward tiers not available to free cars. The marketplace also supports buying and selling individual tuning parts, letting players trade components separately from full vehicles.
Free-to-play players receive a starter package of 7,800 FCM, one Basic Tuning Blueprint, three paint options, and nine engine upgrade parts on account creation. F2P quests mirror the crypto quest structure, giving non-paying players a path to earn FCM through normal racing without a wallet requirement.
Getting Started in Formacar Action
Download free on the App Store or Google Play. Create an account to receive your starter car and FCM balance. F2P quests are available from the start with no wallet needed. To access NFT cars, connect a BNB Chain-compatible wallet and purchase an NFT ticket from the marketplace. The cheapest entry point is a Standard Ticket at 4,500 FCC tokens.
